We are seeking a visionary Chief Financial and Investment Officer/Cofounder (CFIO) to lead our financial strategy and fundraising efforts. As a founding team member, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Com-Unity’s financial foundation, securing funding, and driving our vision forward.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Leadership

• Develop financial models, forecasts, and budgets to guide strategic decision-making.

Fundraising & Investor Relations

• Lead pre-seed and seed fundraising rounds, securing resources to fuel growth.
• Build and nurture relationships with venture capitalists, angel investors, and other funding sources.
• Craft compelling financial narratives, pitch decks, and investment materials.
• Prepare the company for due diligence with accurate records and strategic forecasts.

Strategic Growth

• Align financial strategies with long-term company goals and product milestones.
• Provide insight into key metrics like runway, burn rate, and customer acquisition costs (CAC).
• Identify strategic opportunities to scale operations and build investor confidence.

About You

• You’re a financial leader with an entrepreneurial mindset, ready to dive into the fast-paced world of startups.
• You have a proven track record in fundraising, financial strategy, or both.
• You excel at building investor relationships and translating financial data into actionable insights.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in finance, investment, or fundraising roles (startup experience preferred).
• Strong financial modeling and forecasting skills, with expertise in SaaS metrics.
• Successful history of raising capital and managing investor relations.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and networking skills.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguity and make decisions with incomplete data.
